I'm going to try this and I'll let you know how it works out-if it battles the roaches here in Fl, I'd say it works. It's a recipe from my aunt's neighbor who is big on pet/kid/environment friendly and says this works. I think it will because I've come up with garlic spray on a google search for natural pesticide. If anyone else trys it please let us know if it works for you. I'll be changing the quantities to spray the whole house or just make a few batches.
3 cloves garlic finely chopped
2 med onions finely chopped
1 qrt water
stir and cover tightly-brew/let sit 24 hours
drain and toss the chopped garlic and onion
add to liquid-
2 tbs tabasco sauce
1 cp biodegradable liquid soap
1 qrt water
stir and place in sprayer
spray windows, entrances, paths, foundation etc-even inside-for trouble areas repeat every 1-2 weeks.
avoid contact with skin and eyes since the tabasco will burn-so if your pet sniffs/licks it it might burn but won't hurt them
Also can sub the tabasco with cayenne hot red pepper
