How frustrating!

I had some very exciting clear mucous on the TP and in the toilet this a.m. and having lots of BH today. I'll take any excitement I can get. I'm pretty sure I'm not next.

I was laying on the couch earlier and felt something wet trickle down my butt/back leg and it make my heart skip a beat...it was cold so logically I thought it couldn't be my water breaking b/c it was cold-but still I had to check to make sure. I reached back and it was DD's cup that had leaked on me.

Thoughtless woman!!:
I just talked to the woman at my bank and she said "what, they let you have your baby at home???" People can be soooo narrow-minded.

They let you. What a dumb thing to say. I always have to wonder who THEY are and what LET means.

I'm glad you got the joke in this!
THEY seems to be more and more the (ever more evil-becoming) government and in this case the medical establishment and their insurance buddies. This mind control game is pretty scary and I'm sooo happy to know there are a lot of moms here who have taken their own health and destiny in their own hands by choosing to go a path the feels right instead of just doing what THEY say.

A customer at work told me that she recommended an epidural. When I told her I was having a homebirth she said that sounds good now, but you'll see the error of your ways as soon as that head starts to come.

How rude! As if women haven't been giving birth without drugs forever. Sheesh. I can't wait til this is done and I can say "I told you so" to about half a dozen people...

I got the same induction talk at the vet the other day. The receptionist asked when I was due, I said, about a week from now. So she says, oh, and if you dont have the baby by then how long until they induce you?
What's the deal? I told her, no, I dont do inductions.
On another note, I had a great co-sleeping conversation with my dd's preschool teacher! She's all for it. So happy when I talk to "intelligent" beings.:

I was talking to this woman about our births, and when I told her I had a natural birth with my dd, she said, "That's just stupid. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go through that pain when you don't have to."

It's one of those moments I wish I could go back to and say something very clever, but I was too much in shock at the time.
