I just talked to my doctors and asked him if I could get a blood test to check my immunity to certain illnesses like CP.
He said sure but that I had already been tested for rubella when I was pregnant and it came back that I was immune and it was from the MMR that I got when I was a kid??????????
Is this the case?
I have never gotten any type of childhood illness that I can remember and I think you can get those illnesses without having all the symptoms but is he right when he says that I've become immune b/c of the mmr????
He is very mainstream so I am not sure what to think, he is not the natural type and doesn't know that I have stopped vaxing so I didn't want to continue our conversation.

They can differentiate between vaccine induced antibodies and natural antibodies. Was he speaking about your recieving the MMR vaccine or did he specifically state that it was natural immunity from having been exposed?

Here is the link to the Pink Book. Most diseases are asymptomatic in most individuals.

So if I ask him he could tell me wether the antibodies were from a vaccine I received as a child or natural meaning I may have had the illness but disease was asymptomatic?
I just want to make sure I know what to say...
Thanks for the info!
