That particular annoying song was sung by Robert Palmer.

I can't stand anything by Barney, Elmo's World, a good bit of country music, other ppls really loud music that wakes up my kids...

Most annoying song, tho... Anything by Britney Spears. Spear Britney!

Anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Particularly "Phantom of the Opera". Simplistic, bombastic drivel.

"Cheer up Charlie" from Willy Wonka. The rest of the songs are fine, but I have to leave the room when that one comes on.

Another country hater here. Also, most rap and all heavy metal, especially the crap from the 80's (sorry Avolonea.) Oh, and Elton John, he can get under my skin in a hurry. I can't bring myself to watch The Lion King. I agree with whoever said Phil Collins. I have the same reaction.

I have a list of "carsick music."

Carley Simon- Your So Vein
America?- Riding in the desert on a horse with no name.
John Denver- Sunshine on my Shoulder

There are more but I only know them when I hear them. Dh knows the protocol when one of them comes on the radio. First, eliminate the song immediately. Second, pop in the Pixies or The The to get it out of my head pronto!

There is not enough space for me to list all of the songs I can't stand. But, seeing how it's Memorial Day weekend, I'd like to suggest "God Bless America" as one of the most revolting songs ever.

HB, I agree! Also, "I'm proud to be an american." Patriotic songs just aren't my cup of tea, and it has nothing to do with my political views. Just don't like em.

the Wiggles... that song about fruit salad....

Barney anything that purple beast sings drives me insane..

Vonda Shepard, the bar singer from Ally McBeal, she ruined the songs she sang....

Brittney, Christina, and the rest of the bimbo brigade.... I think all need to left on a island somewhere...

And I hate to say it because I watched the show, Justin from American Idol, he voice gets to me....

What's up with all the ear pulling and nose rubbing when she's singing, anyway?
Sorry. I personally like Celine Dion. Not only do I think she has one of the greatest voices of all time, I think she seems to be a completely devoted mother.

All the ear pulling and nose rubbing are things she does when she knows her ds is watching her on TV. An ear pull means 'I love you' and a nose rub means 'I miss you'. Very sweet, as far as I'm concerned, but I can see where it would be distracting if you didn't know the meaing behind it.

I'd love to see her in Vegas. I hear it's quite a show.

Avonlea

The love that so many had for Tupac's music was not so much about his rap style, but rather because so many could relate to his lyrics. Perhaps you didn't find them meaningful, but many who lived through similar experiences have found them very meaningful and often times uplifting. Snoop Dog needs to put that weed down and talk about somethin' real. jack***.

That being said...:

Who Let The Dogs Out !!! Who let these people make a record?

Ice Ice Baby

Anything by anyone who can find nothing better to talk about than b*tches and hoes, and pimpin and money and...

Anything that requests that I 'shake my thang'

Songs in praise of infidelity

Elmo's World, anything by Madonna

Any of that 80's metal music - Guns N Roses, Poison, etc.

That totally annoying CD advertised on TV - Kids Bop - where a chorus of kiddies sing "today's hot tunes" :Puke

CHARLOTTE CHURCH!!!!! I could have lived my entire life and NEVER heard of her, and would die completely content!! For one her age makes it developmentally impossible to have the tonal quality she has, she sings WAY too far back in her throat, and if her vibrato were any more manufactured she could bottle and sell it as weed killer!

I know there are others but she is the WORST in my book!!

Plus any of the teeny bopper singers that promote bad vocal health and that girls dress like sluts are the "in" thing! It makes me scared for what will be out there when Tracy is old enough to date! I hope there are some moral gals left!

But bad vocal health really sets me off and puts me on my soapbox!

Nelly's song" it's gettin hot in here" What is so bad about it is the beat is sooo catchy as I am typing the title I now have that song in my head

Any song they now use in a commercial especially that new car commercial with that Meatloaf song"Let me sleep on it" Celine's song, that they use for a car commercial. And a lot of what you ladies have already said.I also don't get the hype about Madonna

Megtell - I have heard the wild stories about people who don't like the beatles but thought it was just a fairy tale, I have now heard from a real live person that they dont like the beatles. I just can't beleive it. Just kidding. What is so wonderful about music taste is that their is something for everyone.

Oh this has made me laugh.

I HATE Avril Lavigne. She drives me up the wall. I also hate bands like Mushroomhead, Mudvayne and Slipknot. My sister likes them and I think they're so bad. I don't like A Tribe Called Quest because I don't like QTip. I also don't like TATU, Good Charlotte (hate pop-punk), Kelly Osbourne, or Shania Twain.

I don't like country music ESPECIALLY those patriotic songs.

That canned "music" they think a person needs to listen to while shopping for grocerys. I worked for 5 years in a grocery store didnt like the music before working and now I really detest it.

Cant stand country, rock and new age music.

This has totally made me laugh. I listen to mostly ropck and roll on the radio and a broad assortment on CD.
One song I can not stand on the newer rock stations is that "head strong" one. I don't remember who sings it, but it's some little wanker and the lyrics go "Back off, I'll take you on...Head strong I'll take on anyone".
For one thing it gets stuck in my head for days and for another the singer has such a whiney little voice. I've never even seen him, but he just sounds like I could kick his butt myself so he should lose the tough guy thing. It's as bad as Kevin Costner playing the bodygaurd. PLEASE, I could beat you up buddy!
Another one that bugs me, mostly becasue my 3 year old loves to scream it at the top of his lungs is "I love you, I hate you, I can't live without you!" I try to switch the station as soon I hear the first note, but once he heard it, it was all over. Not easy explaining that one to the grandmas.

It is not so much that I liked the metal/hairbands of the eighties..it is just this THING I had for Axl Rose.

I had GnR posters and tee shirts and ten tons of black eyeliner and the whole thing..I was pretty Angry from the ages of 13,until I was about 16..and so Guns and Roses were my cheif way of expressing my anger.

Now , if a Guns and Roses song comes onto the radio..guess who clicks her tongue and says" What was I thinking?"

I never got into Poison or any of those other groups( cannot even recall any names..yikes.)

wait..Warrant. That was one.And I think there was a group called..um..Anthrax, and another one called White Lion, and Ratt..I think ..I kow there were many.

Metallica..I remember them only because they were fairly decent...and are still around.I think?

wasn't there a group called "faster pussycat" And there was ..um..Black sabbath ..but that was my dads time more than mine. And um..Lita Ford.

Oh my.

Anyone but me like Neil Young??????/

Soak up the Sun - if I have to spend another Summer hearing that every time I turn on the radio I might have to break something

Anything by Celine Dion is pretty annoying...her songs are one continuous scream. I don't know about the nose rubbing but what's up with her beating on her chest like a gorilla? But still, I'd take any of her songs ANY day over Christina Aguilera - if I hear "What a Girl Wants" one more time...I will claw my eyes out!!!

Am I the only one that finds Sheryl Crow extremely annoying??? Her lyrics make me want to puke....they are so cheezy & psuedo-philosophical.

Let's Get Physical - Olivia Newton John
Everybody's working for the weekend..???? horrible
ANYTHING by the Eagles
