I really don't have any good web sites to point you towards - lots of bias one way or another-- what I would say is that from studies of diets- most Americans young thru middle aged do not even eat the RDA amount of vitamin K a day-- and that the studies on aging have shown that there are other uses of vitamin K beyond blood clotting- so the RDA will most likely be raised in response to the aging issues like hardening of the arteries and prevention of osteoperosis -- so get a table on the amount of vitamin K in foods and start eating your greens daily-- make it a habit for your health and your children's heal and longevity now and in the future--- the Framingham study reported that the group who had the least amount of bone breaks ate 250 mcg of vitamin K a day-- RDA right now is 90 mcg and estimates are we eat about 30-45 mcg/day-- the 250 mcg/ day is probably a more protective amount for a breastfeeding mom to be eating-- as moms we need to be asking our doctors- to study this-- ask your peds ask your obs-- there really isn't enough study on this- one ped Greer has done a little work on amounts and diet but not enough to ultimately find an answer for us--
here is a USDA web address that has the provisional table ( this table is now part of their standard reference but you can get this portion pdf still) the file is about mid-page under vitamin K
