DH is irritating me!

I am pretty sure it's just because I'm getting over a cold and at the end of pregnancy, because he isn't acting very unusual, but everything he does is driving me NUTS. The only unusual thing is that he is complaining extra about anything and everything, but he has always been a chronic complainer; it's just turned up a notch. But if I have to hear one more whine about how hard life is because there is a paper jam in the printer or something, I am going to scream. Usually I can just ignore it. There's other stuff too but it's nothing too interesting so I'm not bothering to type it out, just wanted to vent.

Are you married to my DH? When he came home last night complaining of being tired and having a headache. . .I thought I was going to scream. SUck it up buddy or at least do yourself a favor and don't complain about your discomforts to the very pregnant lady.
Didn't help that yesterday was a long day for me. . filled with long waits and snowing yucky roads. Why does it seem sometimes that every living idiot in a 20 mile radius has gone to the grocery store the same time that I have (not that there were a lot of people there. . just that the ones there were all slow, clueless and totally not paying attention to anything). . Can you tell I hate the grocery store?

My DH started off today complaining about the fact that he had no clean underwear in his drawer and that we are out of soap. And then got sarcastic with me about both things. I swear my favorite time of day is when he's at WORK!

I understand--EVERYONE is irritating to me these days!

Oh, I totally know how you are feeling. My DH is a slob and usually I just ignore it, but lately it is driving me crazy : . He takes off his socks and underware and drops then RIGHT NEXT TO THE CLOTHES HAMPER. Why does he do that. Can he not see how hard it is for me to bend over and pick them up. And why is it no matter how much sleep he gets, he still falls asleep on the couch at 7:30. Are the kids asleep am I sitting and resting is the house picked up???? NO, so get off your A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!: : :

I'm done now.:

This is good to know. That I am not the only one, that is. My irritation levels are thru the roof, and I don't have a dp. But there are two dp's in the house (my BIL and a housemate) and both of them have been in danger of getting poked in the eye.

Maybe he is quite nervous right now? Give him a big sock to the face

Sorry to hear that, but I can definitely relate. When dp gets the slightest cold or anything else lately, I just want to tell him to SHUT UP and bake a human from scratch for almost a year.

Last night the ILs came over and stayed really late - finally dropped off the crib they had promissed us since Christmas - so we didn't get to go for groceries like we had planned.

No big deal, but the mortgage payment was coming out of my account today and we were going to transfer the money over (as I am no longer working) while we were out. We remember this at 11:30pm and he says "Can you go do it honey? I am just too tired."

Uh huh - and I am tired of gestating your spawn here buddy. So I have to find a coat, put boots on - which is hard enough when I first wake up and near impossible after swelling all day - and go out into the cold to do banking. When i get home, he is toastily asleep with all the llights in the house off as if I didn't exist!

Nice. Can't wait until it's my turn to walk out of the house and leave him and baby for - you know - 30 minutes would be nice. Especially when he doesn't have the magic boobs!

Side note - DH has never been left alone with a baby in his life so far - or changed a diaper - so it should be entertaining the first few times.

Magic boobs. Yes. While I love the womanly art of feeding babies from our boobs, it does intimidate me a bit in that either I pump or baby starves if I want to go play for a day.
