Relief from celiacs disease

Hey there. A close friend of mine who lives with me has been on a gluten-free diet for 4 years or so and it has brought her tremenndous relief from her neurological conditions.

Just the other day we started eating a certain curry powder which we now know contains gluten. She only ate of that food on two seperate days but she has had slight recurrence of her problems. How long does it generally take after accidental ingestion of gluten to get symptomatic relief from 'Celiacs'.

I know this is usually varied but I am looking for a a range over here. 2-4 weeks. Some say even 2days can be enough. Any comment will be helpful.

It's all highly individual. Neuro/nerve issues for me . . . about 5 days. Skin problems, several weeks. Digestive issues, 3-10 days.

If she's having intestinal spasms, tonic water may help. Quinine is an anti-spasmodic, so it helps with the gut wrenching cramps that accompany diarrhea.
