I LOVE her! I read all of her books, they are really nice. All the books I have read are set in Amish country. There is another author that writes like her as well, Wanda Brunesetter. I also like Janette Oke, she does not write about the Amish, but she does write Christian fiction as well.

Yes, I've read a lot by her. I confess I do finish them and think, "Well, that was rather fluffy..." but while reading them I do enjoy them. Nice, "reading-while-nursing-babies" entertainment for me. The "Abram's Daughters" series got me sucked in.

Yeah, that was a good one.

I read the Abrams daughters series also and I agree they are fluff, but I really enjoyed them.

I read one, was left hanging and still wonder what the next book will bring....haven't looked at library yet

I like the light fluff with the clean message. I read these books and want to simplify my life and throw things out

The Abrahams Daughters one was good.

Did you read Annie's People? I think that was the name of it, the new one just came out a bit ago and I am dying to get it

I have read Annie's People, actually I am about halfway through the last one right now, they are good. For some reason the Amish fascinate me. I love to read anything about them.

Me too. I once visited Amish country in PA when I was a kid. I went camping around there with a friends family and we got to meet some Amish people and go in there house ( though I believe now that I met Menonite as they seemed to have lights) and buy some of thier products.

I got a book out of the library and copied it on how to make traditional Amish dolls. It is still on my list of things to do some day. I also want to visit there some summer and get a quilt, though I know it will not be cheap
