Anyone tried Homeopathic Silica for blocked tear duct?

I think I am going to give this a try with my newborn DS, just wondering if anyone else had tried it or had any other advice.

My dd had both blocked tear ducts, I just squished the block out like the dr told me to. Unfortunately, this was in my less educated days of mommyhood, and by 4 months old they were infected and she was put on oral antibiotics as well as antibiotic eye drops.

I have heard that drops of breastmilk in the eye not only help prevent infection, but clears it up. HTH!

The homeopathic remedy "Sil" does expell objects from the body,example: splinters,glass bits,imbedded metal slivers...........etc. Give it a try, one pellet disolved in a small cup of water,one teasp only. Wait and see..............Dont keep dosing.

Never tried the silica. Instead for dd's severly blocked tearduct we used colostrum before every feeding. We also used a warm compress made from Goldenseal. It took longer then using other methods but it did work
