Mostly the TMI type if you get my meaning The thing is they come and go. I do think that there are certain times of the year when allergens are in the air and things are worse maybe or something like that, but I'm also wondering if might not be at least part mental. It was just weird. I did check the batteries and they were half full (according to the walkman) so I was surprised when the thing died so soon (yet too late to go back and get new batteries). And the computer shutting down was just plain weird. But this morning I clicked on it and it works and the computer didn't die So after my shower I'll try and listen to it. I did enjoy the 10 minutes I heard last night.

On the weekly thread idea - I wouldn't mind whatever is picked. I had no problem jumping in when I felt like it (because y'all seemed really friendly and I figured you wouldn't mind ) but I know others might not feel ok with it. I have no opinions really, I'll go with the flow

I read half of the Science of Getting Rich and really liked it but stopped for some reason. I'll have to go finish that. I started reading it just out of curiosity because of The Secret. What struck me was his sense of morals! He says outright if you are making money selling someone something they don't need and doesn't enrich their life, that is bad and no matter how much money you make you will not be truly successful in life. *Very* different from what many have said about LOA and materialism.

OK, I STILL don't have time to respond to posts (that'll be tonight), but I'm taking inspired action and I need help! No...I KNOW you guys can help me!

I was sitting after lunch reading "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, and I got to the bit about Bill GAtes and his enormous chritable fund.

I got up, ran downstairs, and typed this into by journal (which I've been keeping since I discovered LoA and you guys!):

Feb 28 ‘07

I want to empower people, and teach them to do this too. I want to do this for the greater good of all, and I also want to get incredibly rich doing it, also fro the greater good of all. I want to have a huge charitable fund, and wonderful people to manage it, and I will put at the disposal of each of these people some percentage to be used as their OWN charitable fund, to empower them to help other people. And I want to train others to help other people too.

This stuff HAS to be spread around! I’ve always wanted to make people’s lives better. I wanted to do that as a kid with medical research; I’ve wanted to do it as a musician by touching people’s lives with music; I’ve brought it into my teaching when I’ve kept focus on that.

Now I want to do it directly, with that as the intent.

OK, the universe likes speed. I told Ben we’d do piano at 2.30, so I’m going to use the next 11 minutes to set up my blog.

So I went to blogspot.com and it said "page not found". So I looked at another one, but it's only free if you let Lycos put ads up.

So I looked for other stuff, and I found this:

When we got to our destination I called to inform DH that we had arrived safely, and he told me we had an offer on the house.

I did it myself and my house sold before it was officially listed. The couple that ended up buying it drove by as the R.E. agent was getting in her car to leave. No kidding. She hadn't even had the sign up and they were the first and ONLY people to look.

Dh's sold 2 weeks later. (This was a month before we were married and we both wanted them sold close together.)

It totally works.

Now, I was told to bury him at the back of the house and head down.

I never really questioned why. I just did it.

Maybe it's a sign not to *think* too much about it all, and start focusing on *feeeeling* great!

That's how I'd take it. (And, I'm actually going to try that!)

I think you have to complete the home equity application process (on the current house) and be approved, before placing your current home on the market. Also, we were given a home equity loan on the equity we placed in the second home, in addition to a mortgage on the second home. It was scary while we had those and the current house unsold going into the holiday season. But, when I released my fears about it selling, (and neurotic need to try to keep it spotless with a toddler), it sold to someone who stopped by and first saw it a mess. It will unfold, exactly as it is meant to be, regardless of the energy you spend fretting. So don't worry.

This is kind of sneaky wording. I put in bold the important part. They hold all rights. Which means that if you wanted to do something w/your content later, you couldn't.

#6 is sneaky. Of course you retain authorship and copyrights - you created the work. This is misleading.

Now, if you are interested in putting content out there and you don't care about using it later on down the road for something else, then this could be a good deal.

I wonder what types of stuff they use and how much they generally pay?

I've had experience w/things similar to this and for the amount of work you put in, the payoff is usually not that great. Don't want to sound like a downer here, and this could be very different, but if I were to offer you advice, I'd say don't give your rights away exclusively - ever.

But that's just how I feel about. JMO yk?

I was catching up on the Feb. thread and thinking it was odd there wasn't the usual morning flurry of messages coming in, and then I saw we were manifesting time travel or some such craziness!: Oy Vey! It just blended into my morning of annoyance, to tell the truth (started around 4:30 am with the restless on/off/on/off the boob baby) BUT I have transformed my mood, using plenty of gratitude and listening to the latest masters of the secret thingy...

I have such a brilliant magnificent friend. I was telling her (in the context of loa) that I still can't get past my bleary mornings. (Actually sometimes I totally can, and that is manifesting & increasing quite a bit, but I don't want to have any long bleary mornings! Or rather... heheh... I want to have all my energetic days start soon after waking!)

And she said that she thinks I need a kitten. And she's totally right. A kitten is one of the things I kinda started out manifesting my usual partial way a month or two ago (thus I already have the litter box & food in my closet )... I want to manifest a kitten that is the right one to join our family! We're getting closer to kitten season anyway, but of course my manifesting is not limited by that at all!

(Note to myself: also, don't forget to drink diluted juice first thing in the morning )

I've chatted with Heartmama, our mod, and she's totally cool with a weekly thread. What she will do, though, is lock it when it's done. We will still be able to read it, just won't be able to post there. That way, we'll only have one LoA chat/update/support/question thread going at one time and it will be far less confusing than having several threads all going, like we do today. She's going to turn the March thread title to reflect that it's a weekly thread....then every week, we'll start a new one.

I hope this will help people keep up, help new people feel comfortable to jump in and participate....and hopefully everyone's questions and concerns will be addressed more easily.

I believe she's going to lock the Feb thread today....so we will post in this one until next week.

There's so much valuable information, and I'd hate to see it all float off into the great beyond with no way to reference back. Hmmm... I love this idea except for one detail. Sometimes there are posts I want to reply to in the old thread, so I multiquote-tag them, then click "post reply", then copy & paste it to a reply to the new thread. If the thread is locked it sounds like that would be impossible? Maybe if the thread locking was just delayed a day or two?

ETA: Oh nevermind! I just remembered it's possible to use multiquotes from another thread too. Hopefully that would work from a locked thread.
