Just saw him Monday night......what a performance~! What a great band! AFter the show he walked in to the audience and hugged and talked to people for at least a 1/2 hour. My 3rd time seeing him, and its still an event!

If you dont have his new cd YELL FIRE........stop, get in your car and go directly to the store and BUY it! Its amazing and beautiful and political and incredible.

well.....just had to gush about the show. I got to talk to him on motheringchats and he was so amazing then.

yeah I really like him too. Just recently I watched his dvd I'm Not alone or something like that and he seems very humble and kind.

He really is amazing and I love his positive vibe. He is so interactive during his live shows and gets everyone involved. I was wondering how the new cd is. Is it better than the last one I wonder? I've listened to that one so many times. Best hooping music too.

Ah yes! Micheal Franti . .. . yummy.
We've seen him several times, both acoustically and with Spearhead. We were going to try to catch him in Tahoe but it didn't work out. Hoping he comes around this summer. His shows are always so positive and uplifting - the way church should feel, I think!

My 9 yo ds loves "Yell Fire". He wants to know when he can go to a show - maybe next time!
