Cordless sweeper?

Thread Starter
Does anyone use a cordless sweeper on their hardwood/laminate floors? I'm wondering if these will scratch or fling stuff around. I sweep our floors a couple of times a day because they get so filthy with dust, crumbs, and cat hair, but I HATE using dustpans! And now I have a baby to carry around with my cleaning too! So if anyone has experiences with the cordless sweepers I'd love to know.

I have a swivel sweeper and love it. My mom has one too, does great on her hardwood.

I have a Shark rechargable sweeper and I love it for the kitchen and hardwood floors. There are spaces it can't reach though - so it doesn't really eliminate the need for a dustpan.

I have the Swiffer

and the battery power is only enopugh to do our great room (so mybe that's like 2 rooms). My children use this since it's lightweight and cordless.

A broom really works best on our laminate and hardwood floors.

I also use our Hoover WindTunnel vacuum but again the broom beats our vacuums handsdown.
