If you have it in you to comment, http://www.bloggingbaby.com/ has the Lancet study up on the top of their page right now. I always liked this site for being pretty balanced, but now it too has fallen under the spell. What a nightmare!

But in brighter news, I heard today that almost all of the HMO's in NYC have quit covering circ. I hope it stays that way.

Have the HMO's in NYC really quit offering circ? I ask because my sister (my best friend) had my poor nephew circ'd last summer in NYC. Her OB and ped said that they had never had parents who didn't circ.

I don't have the source, I just read it on a parenting blog today. I'm so sorry about your nephew.
I have family who still do it too & its heartbreaking.
