allergic reations to gluetin (sp?)

Yesterday both my sons came down with gas. Their stomachs were a bit distended and tight. My 1 1/2 yr old cheeks were bright pink (he is fair and they do this time to time).

The only thing I can think of is that the pizza caused it. Does gluetin (Sp?) cause this. They also had rice milk for the first time (I noticed that it contained gluetin in it.) What would be the cause of the pink cheeks.
Any thoughts.

Gluten can absolutely cause that. However, it could also be the dairy or pizza sauce, or all, lol. I think that the pizza sauce would be a likely culprit for the pink cheeks...but gluten can cause all sorts of issues.
