What boards or groups do you belong to that you can talk about GPT sites?

I just requested to join the WomenMMOnline yahoo group. Are any of you there? I saw the MDC group but it has no posts for a couple of months.

The 800# just rang and rang and no email response other than a form letter saying they received my email. My CC company is investigating thank goodness but it's still aggravating and on top of that I didn't get credit for doing the trial :
yes i had a problem but it was technically stopsmoking180 but we mostly think they are the same people. i called dozens of times, left messages and all the same stuff and still got charged the $100 for the initial and then another months supply. course my credit card company will credit me for it. i returned the trial to whatever address was on the package and then wrote return to sender/cancel on the package i got sent 2 weeks ago (the "refill"). i hate when companies just have machines cause you never know if they get the phone number, if anyone looks at the messages etc. i just make sure to keep accurate info and know what dates i called so if they want to play hardball i can show them my phone records that i did call them.

I just tried to sign up for a $1 trial for the first time...and I tried using a Visa gift credit card. They wouldn't take it...do they somehow know it isn't really "mine" (meaning my name isn't on it) or do they know it doesn't have much money on it.......I REALLY hesitate to use my own regular credit card!

I just recently started doing the trials (about 3 days ago) and used a VIsa gift card. I don't want to use CC yet, or even ever maybe. I have not had any trouble using it for payment. The only one that didn't go through was one for saving on purchases at different places. But I was thinking that it might be because I had just signed up for another one like it a few minutes prior. I wish I could help you, but wanted to let you know that using a gift card has not been a problem. It is in my name though.

sometimes some (about 5%) of companies "know" what cards are gift cards vs. "real" cc. also when you use a gift card they "ping" (darn it my vocab is totally wacked!) it for the FULL amount. EX: if the monthly charge for the service is $16.95 they will "test" that amount BUT it will "fall off" in about 7 days and just leave a $1 charge. this is the downfall of gift cards but a great way to start and make sure you start slow cause you can only do a few at a time. does that make sense?

: my sister got her $1k card and i am getting my half (i helped her with it ALOT so she split it with me). also i had gotten my $2k CHECK in the mail about 3 weeks ago. i feel so great!! what an easy great work AT HOME job!!!

did they show up as nextclick or something like that on your CC? I couldn't even get a machine to take my message! I still have the "refill" as i wasn't sending them back until i was sure my money would be returned. leaves a bad taste in my mouth about free/paid trials. I had some good ones but this one has been bad bad.
However I wont use my reg CC anymore, after I get some money back into my acct I will do the visa giftcards.

I haven't found anything for the Mac but you can clear cookies, as opposed to clearing data & most things are saved.

I got mine without an invite. My dh said invites are no longer required.

Are there some internet providers that are better then others? I don't have very high approval rates.

Should you have the same ISP all the time? Mine is different everytime I go to whatismyisp.com, but when I try to force it to stay the same, then I often can't log on to my internet.

I am moving and can only get dial up or satellite at my new address.

Columbia House and BMG warnings

I'm having my own problems with them and I just joined! I was planning on keeping this membership but now I doubt I will.

I had to do a lot of digging, but found a customer service number for them (it's NOWHERE on their website): 1-800-262-2001

The lady I spoke to said she thought that most of their member & order processing is in India...

same goes for BMG Music (same company) - avoid them if you can!

Columbia House DVD sent me a box with a marital arts movie by Jet Li. LOL, I'm a "you've got mail" type person....anyway, I never signed up with them. I looked at the offer a few times but never signed up b/c they were so expensive. I had to email them b/c there was no phone number. They have been good about clearing this up (although they claim I DID sign up) but I still was pretty annoyed at being told I signed up and owed them money when I never ASKED for thier product to begin with. I have no idea how they got my mailing addy or chose that selection for me. :

please help me

On cash duck I did a super rewards survey. I wanted to receive the $1000 free gas gift card that was the prize. So I followed the steps and all those pages of yes and no offers. Finally, I thought I was at the end. It said I had to accept 2 offers from this last page to get the gasoline card. I completed two offers. Then it went to two more pages saying I had to accept more offers. Is this how it works? I feel tricked. I have not gotten any confirmation emails nor have I gotten credit with cash duck.

I was just reading at CD that it may be better not to use RoboForm since companies sometimes look at how fast the form was filled out to determine if it was auto-filled. Is this a serious enough issue to actually take the time to fill out contact info by hand?

yes this is normal. if you go to the bottom of the page and click terms and conditions or how it works or somthing like that then it should tell you how many offers you have to do to get approved but be careful some companies are not as reliable as others.

If you are really wanting a $1000 card or a similar gift do not go through those freebie offers on gpt sites. Complete enough of the freebie offer to get credit but don't attempt to get the gift. It's far better if you decide what you want and then research to find the best possible offer. visit free-youbetcha.com to learn about do-it-yourself sites that will earn you nice rewards for doing a certain number of offers (last october I did a 10 offer site for a $1000 visa gift). Nui Tech is the best site to work with but even they have recently changed their terms to include new rules that I find ridiculous. It will keep me from doing anything through their network again.. until I see how things are going to pan out after a few months.

I did something similar my 1st month on GPT. I wasted 3 really nice offers that I could have gotten paid for. Oh, well, I figured, live and learn.......

Anyone know when I would get paid if I cashed out of monsterpayscash by the end of the month? It says to get paid in the next cycle to cash out by March 31. So just wondering when I would get paid. And how I would get paid.

Cashouts by March 31st would be paid in April (usually like the 20th or somewhere around there). MPC has more than one payout option, so how you would get paid depends what option you choose
post #100 of 211
MPC checks arrive about 4 days after payout for me. Paypal was always right on the 20th. CD checks arrive about 2 days after payout for me. DBP checks arrive about 4-5 days after payout for me. Paypal from DBP was right on the 20th.

I know that wasn't exactly the answer to the question above, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway.
