I just got rid of 1 pair old undies, and packed up preggo pants. So two more things! I've got a lot of ways to go before I go to work tonight! I think I'll count stuff that I get rid of before I go to sleep, not before midnight!

just sent 41 packets of kool aid to my moms...probably shouldn't have counted them but i'm desperate (and competitive )

I just went through old cake decorating stuff, got rid of 35 items and got rid of 37 more books and misc from the basement. I'm almost there!!!!

I DID IT!!! YEA!!!!!!!: : I got my last 11 items from going through my tupperware again and getting rid of the extra lids that don't have matching containers!!!!

Woo-hoo! Congrats!

I really need to go through my mismatched tupperware. I have so much of it and rarely use it..

I think my last count was 219/300
Plus:

another old pillow- tossed
a few socks with holes- tossed (have more than enough cleaning rags already)
cheapy placemats- tossed
bag of too-small swim diapers- given away
pile of papers- ripped up (I seriously need to get a cross cut shredder!)
returned two bags of recyclabes for the deposit money

I think I'm up to about 284/300
I'll find those last 16 items before midnight to make my goal

March is over and I only have 10 more items to add to my total. This brings me up to 175/300. Not even close to my goal this month.

One bag of recylcling gone, one bag of REALLY OLD, useless fabric scraps, gone to the dumpster, and a bag's worth of old junk I cleaned out of a box that's been unopened since we moved in three years ago, gone to the dumpster! Yes!



9/7 bags of "stuff" given away, sold, or dumped if need be

7/10 pairs of shoes given away

20/25 pieces of clothing given away or sold

20/35 pieces of baby clothes given away or sold

3/5 bags of papers to be recycled/shredded

1/2 pieces of furniture to be given away or sold for cheap

Well, we decided to Freecycle all of our old punk clothes that we haven't worn in forever. We posted them recently on Craigslist, but I just want them out, and I don't feel like waiting! I forgot to count, but there are at least 70 pieces of clothing. They're getting picked up in the morning, but I'm still counting them for March.

The junk people came last week and took two bags of... well, junk
I gave three boxes of outgrown clothes away to family and freinds, and donated a bunch of old sheets to the animal shelter. It does not sound like much, but I have quite a bit more room in DD's closet now I also went through our files and shredded a whole trash bin's worth of old papers!

however, I did not meet my goal of painting my room OR reorganizing the closets in there. *sigh* Well, there is always next time

April 1...

I'm still here...my challenge was to declutter three areas:

- Our bedroom
- Cabinet under the bathroom sink
- My desk

The first two were FINISHED last night. I got rid of too much stuff to count (for me, anyway - I don't know how you guys do it). My bedroom looks much better, our linen closet has room in it, I can keep things in new places, lol!!

The desk has not been decluttered in time, but I'm holding out hope that I can do it today anyway.
