Rain - saw in another thread you got a BFN this morning. But if AF hasn't shown up, you still have a chance...

I had a weird temp this morning - 95 degrees! Discarded it and got a new battery for my therm... My temp hasn't been that high this cycle at all tho... only been above 98 twice. Many mornings I fall asleep with the therm in my mouth! And I know I sleep with my mouth open. Ah well...

Hope everyone had a great Friday and is looking forward to a fun weekend. My husband and I are putting two windows in this weekend. We completely gutted and redid our kitchen and laundry room. We're refinishing and rebuilding the wood windows but in the meantime, the window openings have been covered only in homewrap (tyvek)!!! It'll be so nice to get some beautiful newly stained and varnished windows in finally! Can't wait!

Hope everyone else has just as satisfying of a weekend ahead!

Dee - Thanks for the compliment about tony. I'll tell him you said he's gorgeous (like he needs more compliments going to his head! j/k!) I can't believe you're 18 weeks already! Wow!! How are you feeling?

LOL Jen that was Emily! That is a beautiful pic tho, I must agree, with the sunlight and the pretty kitty. I'm 9 weeks now and feeling ok. I had some mild nausea for the past couple weeks but nothing crazy. Right now I'm tired all the time, gaining weight and generally feeling like a slug. Still pretty happy and excited though - my lizard has lost its tail & is finally starting to look like a human baby!

Sorry I've been MIA lately - I'm still lurking and following everyone's progress.

Sarah I'm so excited for you with the clomid and wonderful timing!

Jen your timing looks great too!

Xenon yay for discarding those crazy high temps & getting x-hairs!

Kripa looks like you're getting lots of nice long walks and trying to be relaxed while waiting to O.

Kharen are you officially TTCing now?

Nico
you chart is looking great! Are you still on the vitex?

Rain I'm excited to hear how your 2ww ends.

Funnygrace your chart looks fabulous! That 16 day LP must be a real headache for you though!

Kemi, Christina, Cattiebrie
- you've all been kinda quiet lately, I hope everything's ok.

Phew! OK, I need a nap now...

I love getting up in the morning to name changes! That feeling of "who the heck is this person?" and the moment of clarity that follows... Jen, I'll change your name on the front page And, Karen, I'll get your age updated at the same time. I've been coming down to deadlines this week, and it's NOT FUN -- way too much work, not enough time for leisure and fresh air <grumble grumble grumble>.

Sarah, nice temperature rise!

Jen, such cute animals!

Kripa, ditto to you -- I lurve photos of dogs and cats sleeping together... or cats and cats... my cats operate at a level that hovers between tolerance and disdain for one another. No opportunities for cute sleeping cat-piles.

Rain, sorry about the BFN, and sorry about your scheming coworkers -- matters of academic dishonesty really bug me for so many reasons. It's so irritating that they did that!

Karen, yay for a new cycle!

Aw, Dee, such a cute little proto-human in you at this stage! And with brain waves and gonads! No wonder you're so tired!

Kemi, I'll come back and give you instructions on starting the new thread later on -- I can't believe it's April tomorrow!

Hi Emily and everyone else I missed. Happy weekend

That was a cool picture, hubby though it was cool too. It's hard to imagine just how tiny they are...very cool.

I think I am a little more relaxed this cycle. Spring agrees with me, so I tend to really perk up around this time. I would like to walk more but I do manage to get a mile in each day. That is one of the benefits of having a dog, I can justify stopping my day and taking a longer walk. Some of these days we've gotten two longer walks in so I've done about 2 miles. She gets other shorter strictly business walks too. We don't have a fenced yard so she is our built in exercise.

Chances are pretty good that when that kitty nap was over it was probably announced by the orange kitty biting the white kitty on the neck. My orange kitty Rishi is a little roughneck kitty. He has mellowed out a bit but for a while there he was beating up the white kitty almost non-stop. And Rishi hates the dog, but he'll essentially snuggle up with her on the couch. I really don't understand the dynamic of the couch. They all want there so bad that there is an unspoken truce there. In my head that kitty pile happened because Rishi was sleeping on his back and rolled over and Heartbreak was there and Rishi was too lazy to care or move. However it happened, I love that picture, and I know Heartbreak loved it, he loves snuggling but it always happens by accident it seems.

huh-huh...you said gonads...

And on that note, I hope everyone has a great weekend. While I am not planning on not being online again this weekend, it may happen. For the most part I've got a pretty nice weekend planned, with some work mixed in.

Hi Everybody,

I just wanted to give you all a quick update. I'm doing well. I just needed some time to myself to get my thoughts together and all of that while I was on my period. My DH just started his new job this week and with that, he's a bit more tired than usual. I was a bit concerned about that and how it would interfere in our ttc this month, but he reassured me that this was just his first week at work and that he'll be up to the challenge. We're kind of changing the plan a bit to rely more on the OPKs on when to start bd'ing. I've been doing well overall. The first day was a bit rough, but I felt way better the very next day so things are going well.

Xenon: Please PM me on the instructions for keeping the thread since I'm on tomorrow. I'm going to make the new thread this evening.

Hezzy: I wanted to give you a late Congratulations on your new pregnancy! Have a happy and healthy nine months!!! :

Well I'll "see" you all later on. I'm off to get my biweekly massage so that DH and I can relax. It's much needed.

Dang it! Emily and Dee - I'm so sorry! I hate when I get confused (or is it careless or lazy?) It does put my mind at ease that 18 weeks didn't go by so fast! Well Dee - I'm glad you are feeling excited and that baby is developing away! Emily - thanks for the compliments about Tony. I hope you're feeling great!

And yes, I had a name change! Meant to warn you last night but my DSL was down. Hasn't happened in a long time but happened twice this week, of course when there was something particular that I needed to do! I'm sure you all figured it out easily! Xenon, thanks for changing my name up front!

I'm off to spin class! See you gals later!

Oh, meant to ask you guys about your thermometers. I put a new battery in mine last night and this morning it took 6 MINUTES to give me a reading. At 4 am, I wasn't really enjoying laying there trying to keep my mouth closed and trying to stay awake til it was done! Ugh. (At least the temp was pretty normal...)

I think I may like to get a new thermometer. Where did you get yours? Seems like all of them may be the same ... Where else would you get one except the drugstore?? TIA!

Just when I'm starting to get everyone's names straight I have to start again!

Jen I got mine from saveontests dot com when I ordered my OPKs, it's just a digital to .10. Nothing special about it and I do find it takes longer to be finished than my regular digital backups, it also takes longer if it's cold in the room, I always assumed it took longer to warm up to the temp I've been known to fall asleep with it in my mouth and wake up when it beeps. If I ever find one with a backlit screen I'll be in heaven, I have to use the backlight on the alarm clock to read it so I don't turn on the light and wake up dh. The last 2 days though when he heard it beep he mumbled what does it say and when I told him he fist pumped the air like he was the champ.

Kemi glad you're feeling better and it's good to see you back. Enjoy your massage, that sounds wonderful!

Kripa I totally agree with this, I feel the same way about spring. I love to see everything start growing again, the tulips etc are already poking their heads out in my garden and I can't wait to get out there and start clearing away the winter gunk. Your pet stories make me laugh, I don't know what I'd do without my 2 crazy cats, they're so much fun.

Dee so great to hear things are going well for you and Emily I can't believe you're that far along already!

Well I suppose I should get crackalacking on my chores that I'm avoiding. I have to go to a wedding today and I'm just so not looking forward to it, hopefully we won't have to stay for long. I'm not a dress and heals kind of girl and every minute that I have to spend tottering in pointy shoes with pantyhose and a dress is torture. I can't wait to get home and put my flannel pj's back on and watch a movie in bed. :

Have a great day everyone

Hey, ladies!

At long last, I am coming back to OFFICIALLY join you this month! I had poked my head in last month before we had actually started to TTC. But now AF is done and over with, and in a few days we'll try to get one little tiny halfling to try to meet up with another tiny halfling!

I have to confess: This is all very surreal. We've been avoiding for six years (as a married couple), so maybe it's a bit normal to be a bit freaked out? Don't get me wrong, I have wanted a baby for a LONG time; I have been dreaming of the day we could TTC. But was anyone else a bit nervous during their TTC transition?

I'm just not going to think about it ... and we're just going to relax and have fun.

I'll be back later to read posts and catch up with everyone. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hello everybody,

The massage was fabulous!!!!!! I'm so relaxed!

Jencat: I have a fabulous BD Basal thermometer (in a nice light lavender btw ). It's a wonderful thermometer that I bought at the drug store. It also has a back light on it for those really early morning in the dark times.

SarahJen: Thanks for the inquiry about me. I'm doing great now that I've been worked over by the massage therapist. I suggest everyone to have a massage at least once a month. It really helps.

Xenon: Thanks once again for the instructions on how to set up the thread...

Everybody: Speaking of setting up the new thread, it's done! So you can make your way over to the TTC #1 in our 30's April Thread!

See you there!
