Yonder Mountain String Band, anyone else love them?

I just bought tickets for May 3 in Tempe, AZ!!! I'm soo excited. DH and I LOVE YMSB and something has always come up when they've been in town. Now we're definitely going!!! Wooohoo! I also just bought tickets for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, which includes Bob Weir and his band Ratdog and the Neville Brothers. DH is out and not picking up his cell so I can't tell him, and I'm sitting here all excited and had to tell someone!

I saw them at Bonnaroo about 3 years ago and tought they were pretty good. DH and I were walking around and heard them off in the distance, so we wondered over to where they were playing and listened for a bit. I don't typically like that kind of music, but I thought they were pretty good.

YMSB is one of my favorite bands!! I've been following their music for several years now and I've been to quite a few shows. They are great live. Unfortunately pregnancy and a new baby has kept me from seeing them this year and last year. Have a blast though! They are my favorite bluegrass band by far.

pixie, great to hear from another YMSB lover! DH discovered them on archive.com and downloaded a ton on live stuff. They sound great live. I'm eagerly awaiting the show!
