i am having this pain that feels like it is coming from inside of my vagina

the only way i can describe it is that
it seriously feels like baby is trying to push himself down into the birth canal
or through my cervix...forcefully...

my stomach is has been rock solid off and on all day...

does this mean anything???

or is it just wishful thinking...hah

"rock solid on and off" sounds like braxton hick ctx to me.... are they unbearable or just mild discomfort? not sure about the tunneling feeling.... maybe baby is dropping? when are you due?

it kind of depends on how hard he's pushing on me...

Sounds like the delightful feeling of a baby head grinding on your cervix. Kinda stinging or burning, and lots of downward pressure. And the tight belly is prbly BH contractions. If they were "true" contractions, they would hurt more than just that tight feeling. Believe me, you'll know when you hit active labor. All of these are good signs that your body is preparing for labor! How long it will be until they translate to active labor is anyone's guess. I had the same signs with DD - for 4 weeks (2 before and 2 after my EDD). When you get the BH ctx, try to relax, rest, make sure you are getting plenty of water. At this point, if it's after 3 pm and I'm standing up, I'm having BH contractions. Also, for the pressure, try sitting on a birth ball or excersize ball or tailor sitting on the floor - much more comfortable than anywhere else

As yes, the cervix - or, as our fetuses like to affectionately call them, "my punching bag"! Or just head rest (and I use the term "rest" rather loosely!).
