I can't BELEIVE this didn't end in my water breaking!

Let's see...

My HB midwife woke up puking with a stomach flu and cancelled our appt. today.
DH and DD are both sick and running fevers, and DH is 2 hours away 5 days a week.
MIL (my child care in case we need it) is out of town until Saturday.
There have been severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings all night.
The tornado sirens started going off in my area.
The power went out, and b/c we use Vonage that means the phone went out.
My cell phone has stopped working in our neighborhood.

SO I'm home alone on a stormy night, except for my sick 2 year old, with tornado sirens going off, with no phone, lights, or power, a sick midwife 1 hour away, a sick husband 2 hours away - I think I officially believe in miracles that my water didn't break! But after almost 3 hours of reading by lantern, the power is back on! This is more stress than a 39+ wk. pregnant woman can take!

Becca - my midwife has the flu too, and the other one flys out of town in the morning. I know exactly how you feel!

Yea, WOW! Then again, with the boys being sick & snow & rain storms here, I'm starting to believe that Murphy's takin' a break from enforcing his law lately...
