What is your favorite "guilty pleasure" movie?

You know, the one that you love to watch in the privacy of your own home but hate to admit to other people that you actually like!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - The one with the early Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt. I admit it, I love this movie. I don't know why, it's corny and badly acted but I just love it.

Summer Rental - With John Candy, I can't believe I'm admitting that one! :

So what's your favorite cheesy movie?

Raising Arizona

and the national lampoon vacation movies

where do I start. Master of Disguise with Dana Carvey. Caveman starring Ringo Starr. Hardly Working and Cracking Up starring Jerry Lewis. Bachelor Party! Which reminds me of one of my fave actors Adrian Zmed and then he reminds me of Grease 2. Carbon Copy.
Anchorman is probably one of top 3 favorites of all time.

I love that movie. I know all the words.

But I don't have any guilty pleasures. I don't care if anyone knows I like cheesy movies ... like Cool As Ice. lol

I am not sure I should admit it...
Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo always makes me laugh :
And the bathroom scene in Along came Polly reduces me to hysterics...
I'm a mother! I have two degrees! How can fart jokes make me laugh?
I am truly pathetic.

You can totally admit to loving Raising Arizona. That movie is just brilliance.

any movie with Hugh Grant is a guilty pleasure for me
Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion
Mean Girls
Clueless
Heathers
Fast Times (can you see what stage of arrested development I'm in?)

Any movie with Steve Martin or Robin Williams as a dad-simply because my oldest dd cracks up at both of them, and I love seeing her laugh

Hmm... off the top of my head...not sure if they are "cheesy enough" but...

Beaches
Desperately Seeking Susan
When Harry Met Sally

: Dawn of the dead
I hate horror movies, but when it comes to zombies, I can't look away. Like a train wreck.
also, Shag. Loved that movie.

I just watched this last night. I am always embarrassed by how much this movie cracks me up.

I love cheesy movies.

I also really enjoy:
Girls Just Want to Have Fun
Sixteen Candles
Clueless

There are others but I can't think of them right now.

Oh, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High-that movie is not cheesy. It is genius. Where are my checkered vans?

Racing Stripes, currently. It's the girl who plays the cheerleader on "Heroes", she lives on a farm, all the animals talk, they get a zebra who thinks he's a racehorse. It's TERRIBLE. I love it.

Spies Like Us, all-time favorite. It's just so remarkably stupid. The sets are all poorly-disguised paintings, the satellite models look like my toys when I was 6, and Chevy and Dan have incredible timing and chemistry. Also, Frank Oz has a cameo.

I will also 'fess to leaving on Mean Girls whenever it comes on the movie channels.

Kill Bill has been banned from my husband's presence because I got so carried away with it. But I still watch it (both volumes) every chance I get.

Others: Gone With The Wind, Forrest Gump, Saved!, Donnie Darko, Bonnie and Clyde, The Birds.

The Creature From the Black Lagoon
The Werewolf ( the old black and white version)
Gargoyles ( old, gargoyles LOOK like guys in rubber suits, because they ARE guys in rubber suits )

I have a love of old, cheesy horror movies. Godzilla, even. :

I used to LOVE Veggie Tales ( Madame Blueberry was a fave) but have finally outgrown them. However, Bob will always have a place in my heart.

The old, 70's version of The Amityville Horror. MUCH better than the remake.

The Day After Tomorrow. I watch that over and over.

Le Divorce. Green Card. French Kiss.

There's more. Way more. But that's enough.

WAYNE'S WORLD! Yes.

Old monster movies and horror movies of all stripes -- Hammer, Universal, '50s flying-saucer movies, AIP ... I also like some pretty sleazy foreign horror and fantasy movies. Hercules in the Haunted World? Bring on the popcorn!

I also like Romy and Michelle and Heathers, but I don't consider those guilty pleasures -- just good movies!

Oh, I also have a horrible fondness for the Richard Gere remake of Breathless ... OK, that one I am really embarrassed about. :
