first poop in bblp!!

WOW!!!! I've been watching dd's signals carefully since she was born 6 weeks ago. So far I've just been able to tell right away after she's used her diaper... but today she pooped in the Baby Bjorn! I'm so excited!

But one question:

how do you clean out a bblp? It was a mess... I must be missing something on the technique. help!

Awesome! We mostly get poo everywhere, if the bblp is even in the picture. However, my cleaning strategy is to add water and swirl around, dump in big potty, then spray with vinegar and wipe out with wipes.

what a beatiful name for your dd.

to clean bblp i just dump in the toilet and then rinse and swish with water. we don't generally get big messes, just a little puddle in the bottom.

Just a suggestion...if you put a little water at the bottom of the bblp before its used, nothing sticks to the bottom. Messier, maybe because the water is there first. Really, I only know this because if he pees first, then we don't have any trouble cleaning it!
