my hubbys the best!

I just wanted to brag a little bit about my hubby. Since we dont have any family or friends that live in our state, we put our 20 month old DS in preschool once every 2 weeks so we can have a "date". Well every time without fail my DH goes up to every single teacher or teachers aid there and lectures them on not retracting our son NOMATTER WHAT!! They all have heard it about 5 times already but hey you can never be too careful right? Plus this school has video cameras in each classroom so we can watch and see whats happening whenever we want. WHo HOO

Not only do I admire him for this, but My dh is circ'd, and I greatly admire him for fully wanting our son to remain intact. He is a great father because he knows what he is missing out on, and yet wants his son to have what he never did. That is a truly an awesome thing for him to do. He isnt bitter or sad that His son doesnt look like him, he is only grateful that his son will never have the circ related problems that he himself did.

I think I will go hug and kiss him like crazy now!!! Im a lucky gal!

It is so nice to hear partnership in parenting that is understood by each other and equally exercised.

I'm going to have to make sure I meet the preschool teachers for 3yr olds to make sure they 'do not retract him at all' and I hope my mom doesn't want to come along -otherwise I will miss out on telling them that because all they would do is make me be invisbile!
