So I did an Internet search (and a yellow pages search) for all the recycling plants in my area. There are none in my town (I knew this). I live in a very small, poor, rural Applachian Tennessee valley. We don't have much of anything in this town.
:
But the next town over (about thirty minutes away) had three listed. I called them all. One is no longer open, the other takes paper of any kind and the third takes copper, brass, stainless steel, etc.
I was planning on getting a shredder to shred any paper products to use as ebay packing material, so I don't really need a paper recycling place. I don't have any copper or brass, lol and we don't drink soda so we don't have aluminum cans.
I mostly need one for plastics and bottles - which are the very two that are not available.
