I am on the phone with Cinnamonamon, and she is on the the way to the Birth Center... woohoo!

Contractions 4-5 min apart since 4.30am.

Today is her actual due date...so she and dh thinks this it's funny....

: So the birthcenter is an hour & a half drive... 25 minutes before I got there my regular, decent intensity, 4 minute apart contractions started to slow down. To nothing...

So I'm at my mom's house (10 minutes from the bc), and we'll probably just spend tonight and maybe some of tomorrow here just in case. :

Oh, and baby is posterior, which would account for this kind of labor, so I'm off to crawl around on the floor for a while.

I know how much this kind of labor STINKS!!! Sophie was posterior for a while too, thankfully she turned before she was born. I just have long, crappy labors and babies love being in my body! I feel for ya girl!!

I've heard that VBACs will also have that kind of slow to start labor. But it'll happen, and soon enough you'll be posting your own "he came out of my vagina!" thread!

It's going fairly well... she tends to do a lot of screaming at night though, between 1 and 4 to 5 am. : I am hoping she will grow out of it, or that we can do something to help her. She is nursing well... gained her birth weight back plus an extra 4 oz in a week!

I think it did - no contrax all day yesterday (hardly ) until dinner time, lol!

I had another long run -- 4 hours from 3-7 this morning, and some on & off good stuff today. I'm going in at 2:30 to see the midwives and have an exam so I can get an idea of if I should go home tonight or not. We're going to try some positioning stuff to see if we can help him out, too. I'm carrying so far forward (I look like I have a beach ball falling out the front of my shirt) that we're wondering if he isn't having a hard time getting closer to the back side of me to drop into the birth canal, ya know? Anywho... we'll see!

That was one of the problems I had with all three of mine. It sucks!

Looks like my midwife's magic might have worked...that and murphy's law!

They bound my tummy so I wasn't hangin out & down so much & his butt moved within the hour from right to center. I took it off a few hours later to fix it (gouging my back a bit) and when I laid down to have my mom put it back on my contrax went for 10 minutes w/ varying intensity to "HOLY CRAP DON'T TOUCH ME!"

Now I'm sitting up & they're still really intense & 5 minutes apart. Murphy's law part? I just sent dh home so he can work tomorrow -- so he will probably need to go all the way home & pick up his car & come back...I have a feeling I'll be seeing him in a few hours.

Well...lets not be overly confident, lol -- I'll jinx myself! So we'll say *maybe*
