Help~ Packing the Waldorf Lunchbox?

Thread Starter
DD is getting ready to start at a waldorf-based nursey school & must bring her lunch.
My mom got her a beautiful lunch basket but I'm not sure what to put in it.

Does anyone have any light-weight food storage suggestions for me?
I want to avoid plastic containers & bags but don't want her lugging around anything too heavy.
I wrap sandwiches in wax paper & she has sigg bottles for drinks/soup but I'm a little stumped on how to pack loose foods like raisins, crackers & leftovers?
TIA!

For raisins and crackers we buy the little waxed paper bags.

We do use plastic containers for fresh fruit, sandwiches, etc., but line the bottom with wax paper so the food isn't sitting on plastic.

what about glass baby food jars or small jelly jars.

I found this which would save you on the wax paper:

And I think this would work fine for fruits, left overs, raisins etc:
