Consuming the Foreskin; Cannibalism?

There! There's a grabby lede, huh?

I was pondering before bed, letting my creative juices wander around the day's threads (I can reference subject matter obliquely, right? If we couldn't discuss anything that was referenced in another thread it would get mighty quiet here!) The Hooters stuff; the guro info; the usual circ stuff.

I was thinking about the famed Japanese cannibal, Issei Sagawa, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issei_Sagawa
(with the guro stuff & breasts on my mind, is that a surprise?) & honestly, I don't remember the breast connection I started with, but my mind went off on a tangent, and it clicked in my head- people that harvest & use foreskin products are CANNIBALS of a sort. I mean, they may not be eating them, but they are directly absorbing it through the skin for nourishment, & they are not only profiting from the HARVEST of unconsenting, protesting children's flesh (organ meat!), but CONSUMING it.

OMG, Oprah practices cannibalism. I kept thinking, "Oprah loves human rights angles, she just hasn't been approached right, surely after all these years of us writing her she'll help boys too?", when all this time she has been CONSUMING the meat of children for her vanity- how different is she from Elizabeth Bathory, the Blood Countess of Hungary, who allegedly bathed in her victim's blood to retain her youth? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory

Is there torture? Yes. Is there unwillingness of the victim to sacrifice their flesh? Yes. Is there consumption of the flesh in some fashion? Yes.

All the things my mind automatically rebels against, are met with cold hard facts.

Will, one day, Oprah be regarded with the same distaste we feel for Elizabeth Bathory, from the distance of five centuries?

Wow, Tigertail, what insight. I never thought of it quite like that. I think it's pretty gross myself. And more reason to use home made/or natrual products.

BTW, I just love your posts.

Thank you for daring to respond.

I should probably add, for lurkers, that this is in reference to the use of infant foreskins in face creams that Oprah was hawking on her show (and hasn't, though presented with the facts, recanted).

We need to send her samples of face cream & tell her they're made from the prepuces of young girls & see if she has an 'aha!' moment; clearly appealing to her intellect & nobler instincts has been ineffective.

eta: If anyone has links handy this would probably be a handy-dandy place to repost them.

There you go.

BTW, love the OP, and would very much like to post it (or something similar?) on my site if you'd be cool with that.

Will Oprah be regarded with distaste?

I sure hope so. What a hypocrite!

The link above is... shocking. They actually admit to knowing that it is made from foreskin.

Do they really think that consenting men volunteered their foreskins for the sake of Oprah's face?

TNS is comprised from six natural human growth factors found in normal healthy skin. Dr. Wexler told us the factors are engineered from human foreskin!
They admit the foreskin is normal healthy skin!!! (See my bolds)

Well, you wouldn't want to bathe in the blood of diseased virgins, would you?!

Nothing but the finest fresh Infant Meat! (I'm sure by the oz, it's priced higher than caviar.)

I completely missed the respoonse Tigertail! But i agree only the finest virginal flesh available. :

In the Oprah link... it is called Plastic Surgery Alternatives.

I THINK NOT!

That face cream just changes who RECEIVES The plastic surgery. :

Maybe if Oprah is too embarassed to recant, she can invite Rosie and they can do it together.

What an excellent point! I had never thought of it quite like that but it makes sense.

What a horrid world....

It's one heck of a messed up place we live in that beauty products add to their brag rights that it contains human growth factors, harvested from healthy infant genitalia.

I'm going to write a USPS letter, as well as post this on my blog. Sad sad sad...
