Hello there, I'm a 48 year old, 4th time pregnant mom living in Texas. I found your site through a freebee Mothering magazine in the waiting room of my midwife's Birthing Center. This will be my first birth in the US - I am originally from Europe and had my other 3 children there (2 in the UK and the last one at home in the Netherlands) 17, 16 and 13 years ago. I've known my husband for 25 years and we've been married for nearly 19 years. I'm very interested to see how my pregnancy will go at my "advanced" age, I'm hoping for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery, waterbirth maybe?, at our local birthing center. If I can keep away from hospitals here I shall be very happy.
Any moms in their late 40's out there?

: yeah, too many posts. I realized after I wrote that it made sense in my own head thread, but to no one else! I introduced myself and said I was nearly forty and thinking about #3, wondering how many other mamas were continuing to have babies into their forties.
