Has Anyone Heard of/Tried Ovulex?

Hi, I'm kind of new here (to all of MDC, not just this area) and I am TTC. I was searching the net the other day and came across something called Ovulex. I asked the ladies on the thread where I usually hang out (TTC in our 20s) if they had heard of it and one person said that she thought she may have run across the word in here somewhere. I was just wondering b/c we have been TTC since May of '06 and nothing.

I tried ovulex. Last year. It caused a pain where the tummy and small intestine meet. I sent it back and got a refund. I don't know what herb in there my insides were not happy with but that was just me and may not be the same for everyone.

Hi Micha's MoM..... I am in the TTC in our 20's too! I really have considered trying ovulex, but just haven't gotten around to it. I have heard a lot of really good stories about it, but I haven't used it personally, so I cant say so! As far as the PP (previous poster) said, i never really heard of that, but just with anything, each women's body can react in their own way. Lots of luck TTC!

skillet..... I am really sorry that you got so sick, do you know if thats a fairly common thing, or more of a rare thing? Glad you got your $ though!

As I said, it may have just been me. I am not sure which herb that was listed caused the pain. I guess one thing to do is since they tell you the ingredients on the site, you could get them seperately and then start one at a time and if you find one that hurts you, don't take that one...or as that joke with the guy telling the doctor, it hurts when I do this...so the doc replies- don't do it...like duh...LOL

I have been trying to convince my husband about it, but he seems really skeptical. He just doesn't want me to take something that could potentially make things worse and since it is herbal it doesn't necessarily have to be FDA approved. My cycles are so irregular, though. I would take it just to regulate (I've read that it will do that). I have only had one period since May when I got off Depo - for the record NEVER do depo. Sorry for the ramble - stream of conciousness.

to the gal who hasn't had a cycle since coming off depo

have you looked into natural progesteron cream(NPC)....use it for 2 weeks off and on? a lady I met recently who had a 6 year old and was only trying to regulate her hormones/cycle ended up having 3 more babies because of using the NPC....

also I used to take femaprin...which is basically vitex and B6...

also a low carb diet called south beach induced a cycle after 1 month on it..

another lady I met talks about using candex, probiotics and enzymes
