My friend Heather and I made all of this for a friendof ours who is expecting in April

(The green part is all pockets that can hold diapers, onsies, etc.)

A Kitty/Blanket:

Very nice! I really like the diaper bag - did you use a pattern or make it up yourself?

I'm the Heather mentioned above
ItyBty had seen a bag like it in a sewing book, and then tweaked the design and ended up pretty much making it up herself at the end.

We had TONS of fun making stuff for baby-to-come!

Oh! And here's the sling I made too:

What a lucky friend! Did you have a pattern for the kitty blanket?

The kitty blanket I sorta made up as I went along. My brother had a very similar blanket as a baby, only it was a bunny head. I made this one a kitty because our friend has 12 cats. It's basically a 12x12 square, one side is flannel, the other is this soft wooly/furry fun-fleece an then I sewed the head into one corner.

I want friends that know how to sew.

If you wash it (and felt a little) first, then you don't have to worry about shrinking when you machine wash during use.

A tiny tip: if over felted, try hair conditioner, and stretch gently!
