The Departed - Page 2

I liked this movie as well but it was very violent and truthfully I was paying more attention to the yumminess of Leo and Matt to really pay attention. I did like the actress in the film. What else is she in?

I never thought I'd be typing this but I think Leo is the most beautiful creature on the big screen I had tears in my eyes after the elevator scene. What a grown-up he's become

I was not all that impressed with the film. Jack N. was not believable, IMO. I couldn't suspend my disbelief for a second that he was a mob guy. Sorry, Jack! Mark W. bothered me, not sure why. Matt D., well, I was rooting for Leo, so there's my opinion on him

About the photo, I got the impression that she had brought a box (containing the photo) back to her old place (she still had the apartment for the month or something).

I felt that she had some misgivings about the relationship, and when he disrespected her photo like he did, she brought it back home.

I really liked the movie, but also winced at the ending. I was at about 39 weeks pregnant, so that made it worse. But was the WORST was that there were several SMALL children in the audience, I mean a couple families with kids under ten. One little one as young as five. Actually the very worst was that the kids were laughing at the ending. I was so hormonal and upset that I had to leave as soon as the movie ended so that I wouldn't just go off on those parents.

We watched it last night, too. One major hole for us....how is it that the police dept. knew everything about Leo's character's history but somehow missed the fact that Matt's character grew up working for "Dad" and had known him his whole life? I doubt they would have missed that.

This movie is definitely not for children. Good grief... See my post about "300".
