I'm Oct 3, and I'm still feeling yucky. And I'm huge. It's very obvious I'm pregnant. "I bet you're having twins!" No, really, there's only one in there, this is just what I do!

I think the thread is fine, although I'm not sure I exactly belong here. I think I'm due around the 10th. However, I could easily go into the middle of October. I've been telling everyone the 15th-20th so nobody gets on me about "going overdue." I'm in a REALLY mainstream pregnancy town -- no hb mw's, all the CNMs are with the ob/gyn groups, and nobody will see me because I'm having a homebirth and they won't even SEE a homebirth client. My hb mw is 3 hours away. So I'm probably not going to see her for the "usual" zillion prenatals. It's my third pregnancy, I feel like I know the drill.

Anyway, I feel totally awesome, this is definitely the best I've ever felt during a pregnancy. A little queasiness sometimes, but my other two pregs I was puking every day for the first tri, so this feels like heaven.

I'm carrying IN MY CHEST. I swear. I just had dh measure me for bras, and I'm 46DDD. OMG THAT'S SO HUGE. I was a 40D prior to pregnancy, but still!

I think I'm due early October. But I don't really know! Can I be nosey and ask when everyones LMP was? I don't even really know when mine was. I'm sure it was the first week in January. Like the 3rd or 4th or 5th. Or maybe even the 1st or 2nd! I still don't understand how I got pregnant

I'm guessing that I'm about 9 weeks. But I don't really know. I probably won't see a doctor or midwife till nearer the end, and I don't think I'll be having a dating scan or anything, so I suppose I won't really know when my baby is due. Not that my baby would listen to a "due date" anyway!

I feel sick. Still. And tired. Still... but I have been out a couple of times and managed ok. I still haven't eaten much at all over the last few weeks.

My lmp was actually the date of my miscarriage, Dec 25th. I don't know if it had to do with it being an unusual cycle, but I ovulated on day 20. I *think* that puts me at 9w2d today.

My LMP was December 20, but I didn't ovulate until day 21 on Jan 10. A long cycle, but a good one! So with a conception date of Jan 10, I'm due on 10/03 and will be 10 weeks tomorrow! Wow!

We were talking with some friends last night and I mentioned that and my DH said, "You mean we're a quarter of the way through?!" It's gone a lot faster this time!

Hmm..I'm confused. My LMP was Jan 4 and I ovulated I think around day 19. I thought my EDD was Oct 10, but everyone else's LMP seems so much before mine. :

My lmp is Jan.4, I ovulated Jan.19 and my EDD is 10/11/07..

I plugged your info into an online due date calculator -- lmp Jan 4, and a cycle length of 33 days (since you o'd 5 days past what they consider "normal"), and got a due date of Oct 16. That puts you right at 8 weeks today. But my math might be off

Though if what you meant was that you o'd on the 19th of Jan, then your edd would be pretty accurate for the 10/11th.

Just joining you early Oct mamas! My edd is 10/4, though if I end up having to have a planned cs, then it may be a bit earlier. Sick of feeling sick, and ready to feel good and look pregnant!

Is anyone in maternity yet? I am thinking the time is close! 10 weeks today and just feeling less and less comfortable in regular jeans. With this being my 3rd, I'm thinking *maybe* it isn't crazy to really need to move to maternity at this point? Or am I crazy?

I'm not in maternity yet, but I am in my transition clothes... pants that I bought after M was born, and pj bottoms. I don't actually have much maternity stuff. My hips are fairly narrow (men's clothes, if I can find them slim/short enough, fit my hips better than women's) so I find I can get away with just low-rise stuff for a long time. And very few of my tops are form-fitting, so they have some leeway, too. But I don't have to dress for work, so it's a bit easier for me to avoid maternity clothes.

Hi mamas. I'm just poking my nose in. I'm in the Sept. DDC, but my due date according to the midwife is Sept 27. LMP was Dec 16, but I ovulated around Jan 2. Since I'm a lot closer in due date to some of you, I thought I'd say hello.

Anyhow, I'm at 11 weeks, and still feeling crappy. I was feeling better (and hungrier!) week 10, but this week has kinda sucked. I wear maternity sometimes, not because I have to but because it's just most comfortable not to have ANY pressure on my belly. I wear those belly bands with my pants undone sometimes.

Here's hoping that 12 weeks will be the magical point for all of us!

I am 12 weeks and have not been able to wear my reg size for a few weeks. I am living in two pair of pants I have that are the next size up but the switch is inevitably soon. Luckily I have a few pairs of super comfy, styly utility type pants that just have a comfy elastic top. Heck, I should wear those all the time!

I've lost so much weight my jeans are falling off. Even my tight ones! I've been sick since the 3rd week in January (which is why I can't understand how on earth i concieved!) Not pregnancy sickness, but all of us were sick. I didn't eat for a week or 10 days. Right after that I found out I was pregnant, and ate ok for about a week, but since then I have had no interest in food at all. And I keep throwing up.

I'm still totally confused about how I actually got pregnant in the first place. I *know* I had sex twice during my period, and then once about 2 days after. But I couldn't have gotten pregnant from that surely? After that my partner got a new computer game and spent EVERY night on it for weeks. Then we were all sick, and then I found out I was pregnant. I tested on the 6th of Feb I think. I originally thought my period was late because I'd been ill. I have longish cycles, about 30+ days, so I would think ovulation would have occured during the time I was ill. So how did this happen????

Maybe I should go for a dating scan?

Even if your cycles are usually long, you can still ovulate during your period, or shortly thereafter. I know you probably already know that, but yes, it is possible to get pg then. Do you normally chart anything, like cervical mucous, to know when you ovulate?

Are you wondering if perhaps your last period wasn't actually a period, but you were already pg? I had a friend in this situation, she had enough bleeding during her pg that she thought it was another period, and she hadn't taken a pg test yet. I think she found out later that she miscarried a twin, and was already pg when she had that bleeding. Other women have what I think is called lunar spotting, bleeding when they would normally have their period, even though they are pregnant. So, you never know.

Well, no, I didn't really think you could get pregnant during your period I thought it was one of those myths from teenage magazines. I did chart at one point, but haven't for a long time. I got as far as printing off a chart to fill in from a website

Actually being more pregnant than I think I am could be a possibility. I really did think I was pregnant in December, but then I got my period and thought nothing more of it. But that would make me about 13 weeks now and I don't think my symptoms really match up with that. I've never had bleeding in pregnancy before.

How would it affect your "due date" if your LMP was say the 2nd of Jan and the date of conception was the 4th? I suppose it wouldn't really matter, since they count the weeks from your last period anyway.

Who knows? I'm not stressing too much about it. I'm just trying to get through the day without throwing up at the moment. I'm supposed to be going to a conference on Saturday and it lasts ALL day. I'm kind of worried about going in case I need to throw up.

Actually, you need to figure it from your conception date in that case. For instance, for me, my LMP was Dec 20, but I didn't conceive for 21 days - on Jan 10, rather than the "standard" 14 days. So if I went by my LMP only, it would put my edd a full week off from what I *know* it is. True, when I state my "weeks" it is based on an assumed LMP based off of the ovulation/conception date - but it's not my "true" LMP. (It's all so confusing, isn't it?!)

So if you conceived on the 4th of January, I'm guessing you'd be due around 9/27. But I have also had friends who have had full blown periods WHILE pregnant, and it throws off the dating a lot. I would definitely, in this case, get an early u/s to check. It will be obvious if you're around 11 weeks or around 15 weeks!
