Hi - sorry to hijack a little, but thought this was probably the best forum for this question. DD is 19 months and while EC didn't work for us (I'll know more next time), she is showing all signs of being ready to learn to use the potty.
I bought a regular-sized potty last week (Summer brand) but DD is quite small for her age, and is having a lot of difficult sitting on it. Clothes she's happy to scoot around and sit on it, but take off the diaper, and she tried it a couple of times and her little bottom almost sinks in!
So I'm wondering if I should start her off with a BBLP (and since my next kid will likely do at least PT EC, I will get use out of it). But how small IS it? For reference, she's in the 20th percentile for weight and is the type of toddler that FB petites were designed for.
Thanks for any suggestions?
