Someone recommended using a condom, filling it with a mix of water and alcohol (so it's a bit softer than ice), and putting it in the freezer. It's supposed to feel good after the birth and help reduce swelling. My mw isn't a fan of inserting anything into the vagina though. I'll make a couple of them and then they are ready if I need one

I wouldn't worry about soap for the clothes, but it could be very problematic for the dipes as you can imagine.

The good news is, you use very little when washing dipes.
