One thing to clean dishes and hands?

I want to declutter my kitchen sink and counter. I think it would be nifty to have one dispenser for a liquid that would clean both dishes and hands. (We do not have a dishwasher.) I know you can technically wash your hands in Dawn or whatever, but I like Dr. Bronner's soap for hand washing. Can you use it on dishes? Is there some other liquid soap or detergent that can be used on both dishes and hands?

That's what I use. There are a few other brands of dish liquids that are similar to 7th generation and provide a wider range of fragrances to choose from. I have Sun and Earth in the bathroom (to refill my pump dispenser) and 7th Gen in the kitchen.

You can use Dr. B on dishes.

I personally don't care for Dr. B for the dishes it doesn't suds up like other dish soaps and for some reason I find that annoying. I would try just using something like 7th generation for both and see how you like it.

I'm not a fan of Dr. B for my dishes because it leaves a greasy scum. If I fill the sink with water and vinegar after I was the dishes and then let them soak for a bit, it gets rid of the scum, but I don't like having to do that extra step.

Ps. FWIW, I find that Dr. B leaves a greasy scum on my face, too.

Dr. B is natural soap, so it needs something acidic afterward to get the soap scum off. To prevent the scum to start with, you can try adding baking soda to make the soap work harder. Dr. B suggests using baking soda to make it work harder (I think they get that people use it for laundry or dishes and aren't really impressed). This is why detergent soaps are cleaner and cheaper to use.
