i am acually going to start EC very soon like in a few days my son is almost 8 months old

i can already tell when he pees during the day and poop but what do i do about night time just let him pee in a diaper and dont worry about until he starts to wake him self up to pee

he is a heavy eater alll night and soo he pees a ton we have to put 5 liners in his diaper to keep them from leaking and they r the really good hemp liners

Well, if he wakes up to eat, then you can try to potty him then. My DS usually won't stand for nighttime pottying, and will just throw a fit if we try to take him, so while we try occasionally, we don't worry about it too much. I know some people have a lot of luck at night, so try it, just take him when he wakes as you do during the day. If he protests because he is hungry, you may have luck trying to potty him in the bathtub and nursing him so that he can relax and pee, DS doesn't pee while eating, so this doesn't work for us, but I have heard that it works for others. If he just nurses all night long without waking, I wouldn't worry about it for now. Good Luck, and I hope you love EC, it's so wonderful!
