henna leaf?

What is it? I'm going through the Frontier cataloque in the hopes that I might actually get in on a co-op at some point, and I found "henna leaf red powder". So, any ideas what it is? Do you think it's normal body art/for hair henna? Or another derivative? What is for hair henna made of, in terms of plant bits (flowers? leaves? roots?) Help a henna-loving, knowledge-needing woman out?

FYI - I did some reasearch and I *think* henna leaf powder would be appropriate for dying hair. I guess I'll order it and cross my fingers.
If anyone who knows better reads this in the next few days, let me know, please.
And, if anyone else knows how to write threads and posts that don't immediately KILL a thread, I would also like that info.
