Change all of the sheets on your bed! That way, your water will break in the middle of the night all over the nice clean sheets!

I'm laboring at home for now. Ctx are short and close together, but that should change after a while. I'm going in to see the midwife at about noon so she said we'll assess things then.

Change the sheets? I think the work alone would send me into labor. I hate changing the sheets-- or any kind of domestic cleaning activity. I'm not allowed to have this baby until Friday when the mw comes for the home visit, so I guess I'll change the sheets then and see what happens.

Okay.

I've changed my sheets, scheduled a mini-vacation, haven't yet drained the hot water tank, made plans with friends, eaten lots of pineapple, am considering Taco Bell, scheduled a henna'ing session with friends, the shower's already come and gone (i figured for SURE having that on the full moon weekend would do it), have had lots of RRL tea to drink, have an appointment scheduled with the midwife next week...

It's not working.

Let's face it, I'm just too early for this. Do I HAVE to eat pineapple for the next month? Just kidding, I love pineapple

You are eating FRESH pineapple, right? The first time around, someone told me pineapple, and I was eating cans of it. The canning process destroys the enzyme. Though I have to say eating a pineapple a day the second time around didn't do anything either.

I have my first home visit this saturday (hope yours goes well deux!) so I guess I should wait until then. It'll be the first time meeting the asst - a LITTLE nervous to see what she's like! In the meantime I am TRYING to inflate our birthtub: a friend lent me her air compressor...it has rechargable batteries but no plug to the wall. It runs for 5 minutes then you have to recharge it overnight to get another 5 min out of it! Maybe it will be inflated by my due date????

In the meantime, I'm off to bed - trying to avoid these late nights as tomorrow will be but I really want to get everything done!!

Only downfall to fresh pineapple is the icky stingy feeling it leaves on my tongue. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do

You know, I said something to my midwife about that, eating the fresh pineapple and not liking it very much, my tongue get almost burnt also. I even tried blending it and sucking it through a straw so not so much was in my mouth. She said, if it is the bromine, or however you spell it, why not go to the hfs and pick up a bottle of the tablets? AHHH!!! I didn't even know that they had them! So a thought for you, if you also like me, don't like pineapple, to go check your hfs to see if they have the enzyme in tablet form
