Can you recommend a cream for my face?

Thread Starter
I really need to get a night routine for my face. :

Can anyone recommend some sort of moisturizer (not too heavy feeling, I live in Texas)? How about eye cream? Something to keep my lips nice and lovely?

Anything else I need that I'm not thinking about?

Oh, and if this is in the wrong place, let me know!

I've always loved Oil of Olay, I love the way it feels on my skin.

:

I love it, but I have horrible skin, so I have to be careful.

Try here: http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2...izer/Treatment

Tells you which ones are the safest to use (less toxins).

Vitamin E Mositure Cream from The Body Shop. Very light cream. I have used it for 15+ years. Good for summer use.

L'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream (rich in shea butter). This cream is heavier, but not bad at all. I found this cream a year or so ago and really like it, good for winter elements (winds, snow, cold, dryness)

And I really liked Soy by Fresh face cream. (Although if you go to the fresh website - they do not make it anymore - so not sure why other people are still selling it - might be old)

Not all natural, buy I love Philosophy! The Makeup Optional Kit is my fave. When I run out I use Oil Of Olay Sensitive moisturizer. I've also used coconut oil.

I like Oil of Old Lady too. :

It's not all-natural but I've always used Lancome "Primordiale" lotion. Spendy but the only one that's perfectly moisturizing but not greasy-making.

Philosophy is what I'm using now. I also like Aveda tourmaline products.

I've tried this stuff
and even though it's really pricey, I don't think it's any better than the others I mentioned.

Derma E is all natural and I really like their stuff.

I have very happy skin with this line. And it's all natural - and smells absolutely delicious.

where in Texas do you live? I'm a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and could hook you up with all kind of top-notch products!

I'm in Waco. PM me if you are anywhere near and would like a free facial to experiment w/ products.

I love Philosophy products. They are pricey, but I can make the small bottle of cleanser last a good 6 months. I'm just about to run out of moisterizer, and I last bought the small size in June of last year! Anyway, it is very light and makes my skin look pretty.

Cetaphil is the ONLY thing I CAN use on my face. I have super sensitive skin. It's a great moisturizer, and it's not heavy at all IMO.

OOOh! This was actually one of my New Year's resolutions! :

I use Beauty Without Cruelty "AHA Renewal Moisture Cream". It's 8% AHA complex, including the coveted glycolic acid. I buy it at Whole Foods, but here is a link below.

It doesn't leave my combination skin oily, it's sloughed off a few years from my face, and my persistent blackheads on my nose are clearing out finally. My skin feels really nice and smooth now too.

Also, it's velvety enough and absorbs well enough that I can wear it under make-up if I want to, but I slather it on (face AND neck!) at night.

In a nutshell: LOVE it.

I'm in Texas also, and loving Mychelle stuff. http://www.mychelleusa.com/
I use the fruit enzyme cleanser, fruit enzyme mist, and deep repair cream. If you are near a People's pharmacy or Whole Foods, they carry the line.

I haven't tried their lip stuff, though.
