Celebrate with me

My husband is home!!!!! It has been something that we weren't sure of until today pretty much, so I am very relieved and finally ready to admit that I am having a baby. Now I can start nesting and getting ready. And thank whoever(Carolynn, did you send any vibes? ) for letting him stay home and for me not having this baby yet. I feel like going and shouting to the world that he is home:

I'm so happy for you! Now you can ease into your birthing space and enjoy the rest of the ride! Bring on the baby!

Thanks. The joy of this feeling is still almost overwhelming. I kept having dreams and images of them taking him anyway, one very insane one of them actually tying him up to take him. Okay, totally irrational, but then I am pregnant, right?
I have been getting more regular contractions, but they are very mild, knida what I was getting at the end of my last pregnancy, still have awhile, I am sure, but it feels nice to actually tell the baby,if you want to, you can come, I am ready now

Carolynn, does this help?

I am curious to see how it is with help with housework after, not that dh won't do it, he just does it so back wards. He tried to hang up the girls clothes and they now can't find anything and keep coming down to tell me that daddy put sisters clothes on their side. This is a big deal to them
And since he is home he has been wanting to try to brew more beer. Kinda like, umm, honey, you realize that we still have stuff to do to get ready for the baby and the baby isn't going to be drinking beer
Of course, he could also get on me for knitting sweaters for the girls...I guess we are both in denial

Ian came out of his room requesting socks this morning because dh didn't seperate his & ds2's -- he put them all in ds2's compartment & shoved a pair of pj's in Ian's compartment. I don't dare say a word though, he's trying...

Although he has been on & off his computer pretty regularly & it makes me reluctant to call for him to help me for every little thing. I feel a LOT better today, though, so I think we may be past the critical point.

If your dh makes some beer, just think how you'll enjoy taste testing it to "help your milk come in."
