I had heartburn with all of my DC but the one that had the least hair I had the most heartburn and the one with the most I had the least.

I had really mild heartburn a few times, and my baby girl won the "most hair baby of the year" award from our midwife!

That's really funny that you posted this. I was just talking about this to my sis-in-law. I was having really bad heart burn and she said, " oh your baby gonna have a lot of hair." I just laughed and said I don't even think baby's have hair at this point in preg. But then I saw the news report on the study and I was lol. I was trying to remember with the others but I don't remember having heart burn and my middle dd had tons of hair.

DD had more hair than any baby I've ever seeeen! Very thick, dark red, and long.

No heartburn.

DS had the average amount of baby wispies, and I had no hearburn with him, either.

I had horrible heartburn for 2 out of three pregnancies: those two babies had very little hair. The pregnancy I had with no heartburn that baby had a lot of very thick hair.

I figured it was all burned off.

Horrible heartburn the last four months of my pregnancy (when I wasn't puking, that is!), and DD had a nice head of hair at birth. It all fell out about a month or two later, and STILL hasn't grown much back--and she is 1 today!

Zero heartburn whatsoever and BD, like me and her dad, was born with a little mop on her head. I agree with the genetic theory.

I had horrible heartburn with DD - due to extreme MS and the acid from it.

DD was born with THICK brown hair which is now down to her eyes, and showing no sign of coming out. She is 6mo on Monday.

I had severe heartburn with Tucker (12-28-2006) and he had so much hair that you couldn't see his scalp and it was past his collar! I had hearburn with all 5 of my children and they all had hair but Tucker had the most.

I had zero heartburn and you can see DD's full head of hair by clicking her name in siggy. (And she never lost any of her newborn hair either.)

i had no heartburn at all and babe was born w/ a full head of hair...and still has it.

No heartburn with any of my pregnancies. DS (5) had tons and tons of hair at birth. It was seriously grown over his ears -- he had to have a haircut at 3 months old. DD (16 months) had a lot of hair, too, just not as much as DS. Baby #3 is still baking.

I've never had heartburn pg or not...my son was born with a full head of hair but DH and I are "hairy" people...I have thick long hair and well DH's hair is moving from his head to his back!

I had little or no heartburn with both pregs, and both dc had hair (ds's fell out though - it grew back fast, but a different color).

My personal heartburn theory is that if you have a longer torso, you will have less heartburn, because you have more space for the uterus and less pressure is put on your stomach, etc. I have a longer than average torso (I have to buy specially sized swimsuits) and had almost no heartburn in pregnancy, even at the end. I also never had shortness of breath, I think for the same reason.

I wish it had multiple options so I could answer for each child. I just did my first .
