I realize that this post is loaded with controversy and run-on sentences, but I would like to point out that I in no way wish to impeach the honor of those who haved served or are serving our counrty. In fact, it is for the honor of those same men and women that I felt compelled to write this post.
It is the soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us the freedom of the press which is now under attack by an effort being made to overturn laws which prevent a potential monopoly of news, thereby creating a massive propaganda machine unchecked and able to spew whatever bull5h!t the party sees fit for mass consumption
It is the soldier, not the poet
who was duped and ordered by evil, ruthless men to kill innocent people and take their resources under the guise of “liberation and freedom” so a few corporate fat cats in Washington could profit greatly while the rest of us live in fear, and who will no doubt suffer permanent physical and psychological damage, while without question carrying out these orders with a sense of duty and honor
It was the soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial, which is ironically being made more and more unattainable on a daily basis by Bush and Company with things like the so-called “Patriot Act” and other beacons of justice which take away the very things that so many valiant soldiers have died for in the past, and who are now in jeopardy of returning home to a totalitarian regime which they themselves unknowingly helped to create
It is the soldier who salutes the flag
which not so long ago was a symbol of freedom and opportunity for all people, but is quickly becoming a regalia of world oppression, and a call to arms by those who would bastardize the deaths of these heroic men and women by putting a façade of patriotism over their vile and disgusting lies in order to profit, while at the same time forwarding their sick agendas and insatiable lust for power
Follow your heart, the truth shall make you free!!!
