Baby shaking (inside) - Page 2

got it going on here too...i've just always thought it was some sort of muscle spasm or cramp...doesn't look like it's anything for us to worry about

Could be in part due to their immature nervous system. Sometimes they shudder after they're born as well, particularly when stretching or upset. Hence that adorable newborn jaw quiver when they cry.

Yup, I've seen newborns do the same thing. Every time I feel a really odd motion/movement/vibration, if I think really hard, I can picture when a newborn's done that. It's just how they move, working those muscles and those neural pathways.

lurking from april too

Here I was ready to ask my OB at the next appt if my baby's having seizures in there. Never had this with my other 2. Seizures was the only was I can describe it....

I thought it was siezures too. I never felt it with my DS, but I did with DD. I like to think she was laughing in there. She laughs in her sleep already! It makes me wonder what she's dreaming about that makes her so happy...

gah I LOVE little newborn laughs. They're so squeaky.

9 kids going on 10, and newborns still melt my heart. Nuts...

This is not my DDC but... I had a 4D ultra sound during the ultrasound my son was moving kind of like you described... He was touching his face and kicking me... So possibly a flutter kick is what ur getting!
