The "Walmart fabric dept closing" thread got me thinking about online fabric buying. We have a couple of of good fabric stores within driving distance but there are lots of fabrics, like amy butler for example, that I can only buy online. It's hard to judge the size of certain designs if the image given is a closeup, not to mention the shades can vary greatly depending on the kind of monitor you use. So I'm wondering how many of you buy fabric online and whether you've ever been really disappointed when it arrives and you see it IRL.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
