Are any of your pets acting weird?

I swear, the closer I get to my due date the more clingy the cat is. He wants me to hold him all the time, and if I'm not holding him, he sits and stares at me pleadingly or jumps up in my lap (what I have left of a lap) when I'm not looking. I think he knows that his attention-getting days are numbered.

My weimaraner has been extra cuddly. Wei's are typically oversized lap dogs anyway, but he's spent more time lately with his head on my belly gazing up at my eyes for long periods of time. ...at my desk, on the couch, any time I'm at his level.

However, he's been doing it for two weeks now...it's not a sign for me of labor-soon, just labor-inevitable.

My older cat Cereal (the one who has known me for 7 years ) isn't clingy, necessarily, but she is a LOT more affectionate, and stays around the house, whereas usually she's a wanderess. She also loves cuddling with my belly. Like full-head-cuddles.

The baby, Chai, now does the unthinkable... she curls up for naps with me, behaves, and stays quiet without begging at the door!

So there are a few little changes, but nothing major as of yet.

Yeah, my cats are acting weird. But then again, they are always weird.

My dog hasn't stopped with his overprotective barking. I thought he would feel better once my dh got home. He thinks that no one should be walking by our house. He gets upset if someone stops by our house. It is kinda sad, but I know that once the baby is a little older he will go back to sleeping most of the day
And my one cat is licking me without biting me, which is a slight turn for her. usually she is lick lick bite. She sat there for about 5 minutes just licking my arm The other one is hoping into my lap, though he is like that a little bit, but he usually does it more to the girls and not me. But he has been begging from me too.

YES! Lily, the cat that usually adores me, is ignorning me and our other cat who puts up with me is now adoring me.

The last time I gave birth, the night before one of them actually peed in my room. They had never done that before and have not done it again. So now I know when I see a puddle of cat pee, that I had better be ready!

Animals can sense things.
