LOL, too funny! I haven't been able to go to a circle-time yet because of my work schedule, but starting this summer we'll be able to Hooray!!
Thus far, aside from going in and playing after Fiona's ballet class (she goes to EVSPA and I'll start teaching there this summer), we've only been to a few of the classes and festivals. She does a great job with those!

Here is our Playroom
We don't have any plastic, but not everything is "open ended" like the firetruck and farm. I try. This summer we are going to lazure the walls and take out the wool rug and replace it with an aplaca rug. We used to have a big flower alpaca rug but it got washed and ruined. Right not its a bit girly and loud but we will improve. Any tips or suggestions on our playroom?

So is the kitchen & playstands. They do a great job.

I just saw the post about wide pine flooring- I always wanted to do that- and have since moved into an antique house with them. But, you could always just paint the subflooring- think of the amazing things you could do!!!!

This reminds me of the first time my SIL visited a waldorf kindergarten/preschool space. He said to my daughter: "I just want to sit down and start playing!" They were, at that point, several years away from having their first child

Don't know if anyone has replied to this yet, but depending on where you live, you can get salvaged flooring from old houses that are being torn down, or barn boards. Check ebay too...you'd be surprised!

Check online for Freecycle groups, which I think are nationwide. People post stuff they want to give away and other people post stuff they are looking for. I just unloaded a humidifier I no longer needed and just listed several other items I'm trying to clear out as I get ready to move.
