I would like to make a wool diaper wrap that goes on like a fitted. I've done a few butt sweaters, but dh doesn't like putting them on--prefers something that can just wrap on. KWIM? Any ideas for patterns? could I use any diaper cover pattern and just use felted wool instead of pul? I've never sewn a fitted cover before and any help is appreciated! Thanks

Yep, you can use the pattern for any diaper cover and modify it to use it for wool. The easiest is probably to do two layers either with hidden elastic and serged or T&T with elastic stitched to the seam allowance before turning and topstitching.
I've also read where mamas modified their diaper pattern by adding 1/4 inch all around, so that the cover is just larger than the diaper.

I made ds a couple of wool wraps. I used a large pleated skirt I got from goodwill for the wool. I used my regular cover pattern, added seam allowances. I cut 2 layers and did a stitch and turn. It turned out great. It was a red and black plaid, so we called it his logger man wrap. I didn't felt the wool either. I also never got around to putting any fasteners on it, so we used a snappy. But I have this bad habit of getting sewing projects done enough to try out and never getting them back in the sewing room.

I made one too, just out of a free diaper pattern. I didn't want to use 2 layers of wool all around, because I was using a partially felted blanked (oops!) so it would have been too thick. I just did two layers in the crotch area, enough to cover the elastic in the legs, and one strip across the elastic in the back. Very trim and bulletproof!
