Teething Baby with fever & diarrhea!

My son is working on teeth nr 8 & 9, and he had a fever all day, I gave him tylenol to reduce the fever & teething gel for his gums, the highest fever he had was 100.4

He also has diarrhea to come with it, does that happen a lot with teething babies?

He never had a problem with fever & diarrhea due to teething before, so I wanted to ask!

Dr. Sears calls it "drool stool" I guess all the extra saliva makes things funky. My ds would get funky poop sometimes when teething. Some teeth were worse than others. His top front teeth were the WORST diarrhea, huge butt rash, cheek rash, earache (altho no ear infection), just a terrible time. His eye teeth and molars, that everybody says are so horrible, I never even knew they came in. All are different. Just keep that butt buttered up in something and keep nursing for comfort. ((hugs))
