Pressure in my cervix

Hi, you wonderful ladies were recommended over at the I'm pregnant board and I was wondering if you could help me. This is my second pregnancy, I am currently in between providers and I have an odd question. I am 24 -26 pregnant. I have immense pressure in my cervix. I have been trained to do a self exam and I am 0cm (lol) but extremely(like a cheek) soft. My ob never did an exam on me but I was measured by U/S. Now I am wanting to go to a midwife but I don't want to call with this kind of question if it really is nothing to worry about(my former ob deemed me borderline high risk due to hx of preeclampcia and hx of weight loss). Any suggestions?

Hi, welcome to the homebirth boards.
I don't ahve an answer to your question but for me, i would put in a call to your midwife if there were any question, it doesn't have to be a problem... just info gathering.
I felt immense pressure, several weeks before I was due, like there was a corn cob sticking up me... The head of my son was very low, I guess... but that was nearly at term....
For you, I really don't know. I hope you get some feedback here, or if not elsewhere so you can not worry.
Peace.
laura
