Raw milk near Austin, Tx?

Thread Starter
We will be camping a few weeks in April, so I will need to buy milk about halfway through our trip. We will be staying at McKinney Falls state park on the east (I think that's right) side of Austin. Any suggestions as to where I could get a few gallons of raw milk while there without having to drive too far?
Thanks!
Melanie

We're doing some traveling there this summer too and it looks like they have an amazing farmer's market. I googled it the other day and found a lot of neat stuff. I bet if you couldn't get it at the market you could find someone who knew where.

I'm from the Austin area, although I've lived in AZ for 10 years. My dad still lives there and I've been trying to find him a source of raw milk. I haven't found anything for cow's milk that is anywhere close, but this place has raw goat's milk. I don't remember how close this is to McKinney falls (ahhh, lots of good camping memories there! ), but they are both on the east side of Austin, so I don't think a trip would be too bad.

Good luck...if you end up getting anything there, I'd love to hear how you like it (as would my dad).

I have had the cheese from white egret and it is so tasty. They sell it at the farmers market.
